T.O. Surgery

The Future Is Unclear For Mr. Owens

Chris Mortensen is reporting that Terrell Owens underwent surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees. The aging wide receiver, who played with the Bengals last season will become a free agent when the lockout ends, was injured while taping a television show.

The biggest part is the 6 month recovery period that will have him sit until November. Terrell Owens who is now 37, has an unclear future in the NFL. Now that his health is a risk, an injured T.O will be even harder to sell to a team. Neither Owens nor his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, commented on the report.
